The RCMP enforces some the Municipal By- Laws enacted by the Town of Oromocto.

Three of the most frequently enforced By- Laws are those prohibiting noise, prohibiting on street parking and prohibiting the use of any off-road or recreational vehicle in town limits.

• On street parking is not permitted under Town By-Laws. This is strictly enforced during snow plowing operations. Violators will have their vehicles towed.
• The Town prohibits any off-road vehicles including snowmobiles on the streets, sidewalks, walking trails and any other public spaces within the town.

Please note: The designated trail within the town is accessible to snowmobilers from December 15 to April 15.  

By-Law fines range from $25 to $200.
