The annual Town of Oromocto Recognition Program is designed to recognize outstanding achievement in the areas of Sport and Recreation.
Awards are given out a Ceremony normally held in mid May.

The nomination deadline is 15 April 2025. Forms are also available at the Oromocto Municipal Building, 4 Doyle Drive, 3rd Floor.
The Town of Oromocto provides Community Grants annually at the discretion of Council to non-profit groups or organizations whose majority of members are residents of Oromocto.
If your organization is interested in applying, please note the following:
Application Deadline: All applications must be received no later than Friday, 10 October 2025 for consideration during Council’s 2026 budget deliberations.
Eligibility: Only non-profit groups with a majority of members residing in Oromocto are eligible.
Application Form: A completed application form is required. Forms are available online (link above) or can be picked up in person at the Municipal Offices:
4 Doyle Drive, 3rd Floor, Oromocto.
Important: Automatic renewal of grants has been discontinued. A new application must be submitted each year for consideration.
We encourage all eligible organizations to apply within the stated timeframe.
