Traffic Disruption Advisory - Please be advised that MRDC will begin work on the Miramichi Road/Route 2 Overpass starting Monday, 23 June 2025 and that traffic will be reduced to one lane for approximately four weeks.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with traffic lights to control the flow. Please note the vehicles exiting from Route 2 Westbound will not be permitted to turn left towards Black Watch Avenue (or Finnamore Street) and will have to use the traffic circle on Miramichi Road to change direction. It is anticipated there will be traffic congestion, particularly near the intersection of MRDC and Black Watch Avenue.
