Oromocto's annual Pioneer Days and Canada Day activities have been cancelled.
On this Canada Day we are asking our citizens to take time to reflect on our great nation and also take time to reflect on the devastating news that is continuing to be revealed related to the recent discoveries of the unmarked graves.
Our country right now is saddened by these recent discoveries and we join our hearts with our fellow Canadians and our Oromocto First Nation community to mourn the missing indigenous children, their families and their communities.
