Noise Notice – Temporary increased munitions noise levels in southern portions of the 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown’s training area.

We would like to inform communities adjacent to the southern portions of base Gagetown that they may hear increased artillery fire in the training area on October 28th, 2020.
The communities in proximity to Browns Flats, Johnson Croft, Lynch Corner, Browns Corner, Central Greenwich, Glenwood, Welsford, Nerepis, and Oak Point may temporarily experience increased noise levels on the 28th of October, 2020, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. In addition, the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) trail that enters the base in the vicinity of the Blue Mountain Cadet Camp will also be temporarily closed during this training session. The purpose of this training is to enable the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery School to practice advanced skills, tactics and procedures.
