Please be advised that commencing Monday, 19 April 2021, the Gateway Wetland parking lot and picnic area off Gateway Drive will be closed as construction for the new visitor and interpretive centre will begin. Most of the trail is still accessible, and parking is available at Canadian Tire Oromocto on Miramichi Road. Please see the image below. A Wetland trail access point is directly across from Canadian Tire and there is a crosswalk leading to it. Please use caution when crossing this busy street. Another parking and access option is at the end of D’Amours St.
