The annual Fall leaf pickup will be held from 7 November 2022 through to the 18 November 2022.
In an effort to divert the volume of waste materials from the landfill, The Town of Oromocto will offer a leaf curbside collection of all residential households in November of each year.
Acceptable Materials:
Leaves ONLY in clear polyethylene plastic bags of 1.5 ml thickness with a maximum capacity of 55 litres securely tied at the top and not exceeding 20 kg (44 lbs) per bag. Or you may use compostable paper bags.
Yard waste can also be taken to the Fredericton Region Solid Waste Commission (1775 Alison Blvd.) during its normal hours of operation Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm & Saturday 7:30AM - 3:00PM or to the Engineering and Public Works compound on Black Watch Avenue.
