The Town of Oromocto conducts an annual flushing campaign over the summer months. This is done to keep the water mains clean, as well as to deliver the best quality of water possible.
The campaign will run from June 21st and likely continue until mid-July.
During flushing, residents may experience a temporary loss in water pressure as well as turbid water. Turbidity will go away quickly by running a tap for a few minutes. Should conditions continue, residents can contact our Water & Sewer division at 506-447-8481 or publicworks@oromocto.ca.
