Notice is hereby given that the Town of Oromocto intends to amend its Municipal Plan.
A Public Presentation will be held on: Monday, August 17, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
The proposed amendments include:
By-law 510-G – A By-Law to Amend the Municipal Plan By-law, redesignating the property at 50 Hubbard Avenue (the former Hubbard School) from Park (P) to Institutional (Inst) to accommodate the future Oromocto Regional Wellness and Recreation Centre.
By-law 510-H – A By-Law to Amend the Municipal Plan By-law, redesignating two portions of land along the Cyr Street Extension: from Park (P) to High Density Residential (HDR); and from High Density Residential (HDR) to Transportation and Light Industrial (TLI).
The proposed amendments will also require corresponding amendments to the Town of Oromocto Zoning By-law.
