Kings Arrow Arena Opens for Public Skate

Public Skating King’s Arrow Arena 

Commencing Monday 26 October 2020, the King’s Arrow Arena will offer free public skating with the following guidelines:

Participants must register in advance at, and follow the “register now” link and instructions.

Registration will commence at 8:30am on Monday 19 October.

Participants can register for individual times up to one (1) week in advance starting on Mondays.

A maximum of forty (40) participants will be permitted in the rink per skate to enhance 2m+ physical distancing measures.

It is recommended that participants wear face masks before, during and following activity.

Participants are asked to arrive at the rink no earlier than fifteen (15) minutes before and leave the rink no later than fifteen (15) minutes following the activity.

Participants must self-monitor COVID-19 symptoms, and not enter the rink if experiencing any of the Public Health symptoms listed.

Participants should sanitize hands when entering and exiting the rink.

All participants eighteen (18) years of age and under must wear Canadian Standards Association approved head protection.

Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, who must also pre-register.

The schedule includes:

Adult skate (ages 14 and over)                 Monday to Friday                            11:00am to 12:30pm

Parent and Tot (pre-school) skate             Monday, Tuesday and Thursday      2:30pm to 3:30pm

Open skate (all ages)                                Wednesday and Friday                    2:30pm to 3:30pm

*The Sunday afternoon skate will be considered at a future date.
